04 / GOOD QUESTIONS

A little clarity.

Know what’s behind the interface.

Is this a working obfuscator?+

The preview performs light source cleanup: removing comments and optionally reducing extra spacing outside strings. It does not rename identifiers, encrypt code, or provide secure obfuscation. Target selection labels your preview; it does not convert Lua versions. Backtick interpolation is not supported in the cleanup preview.

Where does my code go?+

Nowhere. This demo reads your input in your browser. It does not upload or save your source to a server, and it never executes your code.

Can I use my own Lua file?+

Yes. Open the workspace and choose Upload .lua, or drop a file into the upload area. Files up to 1 MB are supported for this preview.

Can this connect to my own engine?+

Yes. The interface can be extended with your obfuscation API, authentication, account management, and billing when those services are ready.
